3. Where a person has been apprehended in the border region of the requesting state after illegally crossing the border directly from the required state territory, the requesting state may apply for readmission within two working days from that date (accelerated procedure). Appendix 1 of this agreement is accompanied by a common form to use for readmission applications. “The contracting parties take note of the fact that this agreement does not apply to the territory or to the nationals of the Kingdom of Denmark. In these circumstances, the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Denmark should conclude a readmission agreement under the same conditions as this agreement. 2. After the Russian Federation has given a positive response to the request for readmission, the diplomatic mission or consulate of the Russian Federation, regardless of the person`s willingness to return, issues, if necessary and without delay, a travel document necessary for the returnee, with a validity period of 30 calendar days. If, for any reason, the person concerned cannot be transferred during the validity period of this travel document, the diplomatic mission or consulate of the Russian Federation issues without delay a new travel document valid for the same period of validity.
